2nd International Workshop on Energy and Water Cycle over the Tibetan Plateau and High-elevations

We are glad to announce that the “2nd International Workshop on Energy and Water Cycle over the Tibetan Plateau and High-elevations” will be held in Lhasa, China, 19-21 July, 2010. This workshop is a joint activity of Chinese Academy of Sciences and CEOP (Coordinated Energy and water-cycle Observations Project) and will be well coordinated with “The Forth International Workshop on Catchment-scale Hydrological Modeling and Data Assimilation (CAHMDA-IV)”, which will be held in Lhasa, China, 21-23 July 2010.

Scope and objectives:
This workshop will provide a forum for scientists who are concerned with the water and energy cycle over the Tibetan Plateau and other high elevations, to strengthen the exchanges of the achievements and information, and to promote the research cooperation and research level improvement. Relevant topics are hydro-meteorology, climate change, and water/energy-related environmental issues over the Tibetan Plateau and other high elevations.

With best regards,
